Luxury Destination wedding in St Tropez

Lucy and Ben’s luxury wedding took place on the most gorgeous day in sunny St Tropez in July. Think sunset photos, summer dresses and lots of Rose!

Their wedding weekend kicked off with a gorgeous welcome dinner on Pampelonne beach the night before the wedding where they started the celebrations with all of their friends and family. I was lucky enough to be there for the while weekend and we got some super fun pre-wedding portraits in during their welcome dinner.

The welcome dinner was really relaxed and it was so lovely to have it on the beach – I would definitely reckoned this if you’re having a destination wedding.

On their wedding day Lucy and Ben decided to keep the tradition alive and not see each other that morning so they got ready at separate locations – Ben with his groomsmen and Lucy with her bridesmaid and parents. Lucy looked amazing in her Jane Hill Bridal gown (such beautiful dresses) from Halo and Wren.

Their ceremony was held at the beautiful church L’église Notre-Dame de l’Assomption in the village of Ramatuelle. Ramatuelle is a very picturesque town – as a destination wedding photographer I was in love! they drive away from the Church in a lovely vintage car and met us at their reception venue soon after where all of their guests were waiting.

The Chateau de Pampelonne was perfect for their celebration and reception and it made for an incredible backdrop for their drinks and canapes. Add on a stylish champagne tower and what ore could you want! I love a champagne tower and it always makes for really great, fun photos so if you’re looking for something a little extra then definitely consider a champagne tower.

After canapés, champagne and photos, Lucy and Ben entered into dinner with everyone waving their napkins – this is such a fun wedding trend and really sets everyone up for a party – which they absolutely did as they went straight into a ‘mini dance party’ which was SO much fun.

After dinner and dancing, we had a few shorter more editorial photography style couple session shoots during the evening which allowed us to make good use of sunset and after dark capture a few flash photography photos in Lucy’s change of outfit.
